Creative Writing
Through the use of thematic units, the kids will learn the skill of pre-writing through art, word association, questions, poetry, planning and composition of prose. The exercises will help kids learn to be less fearful of writing assignments and show them how the right tools can make writing lots of fun.

Kids’ Book Club
In this club we will be sharing quality books and discussing the talented individuals who write and illustrate them. Book discussions and activities such as games, crafts, and puzzles all help to instill a love of reading, as well build comprehension, fluency and oral reading skills.

Science
Using hands-on activities, we will explore a different scientific concept each day. The children will form hypotheses, experiment, and form conclusions. The children will explore topics such as the solar system, dinosaurs, and the food chain.

Note: All workshops are drop-off only. Parents may observe their child on our flat panel display in our comfortable Parents’ Lounge. Our lounge is a great place to relax, read a magazine, and enjoy a cup of coffee with other parents while your child engages in a world of learning and fun.
