Imagination Math

In this workshop, the children will explore numbers and math concepts in creative ways using crafts, cooking, music, movement, and more.

Handwriting can be tricky when you’ve got such tiny hands! This workshop helps to build the foundational skills necessary to form letters accurately and efficiently.

Phabulous Phonics

This workshop is for the pre-reader. We will focus on letter sounds and sound combinations. With hands-on activities, music, crafts, and books, we will explore the key sounds needed to build words.

Nature in a Nutshell

Summer is a great time to enjoy the outdoors. In this workshop we bring a little of the outdoors in and learn just what it’s all about.

Math Foundations

Math is like building blocks. If the foundation is not strong then the tower cannot stand. Come and join us for some games to learn and practice the foundations of Math.

Creative Writing

Through the use of thematic units, the kids will learn the skill of pre-writing through art, word association, questions, poetry, planning and composition of prose. The exercises will help kids learn to be less fearful of writing assignments and show them how the right tools can make writing lots of fun.

Kids’ Book Club

In this club we will be sharing quality books and discussing the talented individuals who write and illustrate them. Book discussions and activities such as games, crafts, and puzzles all help to instill a love of reading, as well build comprehension, fluency and oral reading skills.

Science

Using hands-on activities, we will explore a different scientific concept each day. The children will form hypotheses, experiment, and form conclusions. The children will explore topics such as the solar system, dinosaurs, and the food chain.

Note: All workshops are drop-off only. Parents may observe their child on our flat panel display in our comfortable Parents’ Lounge. Our lounge is a great place to relax, read a magazine, and enjoy a cup of coffee with other parents while your child engages in a world of learning and fun.
